📖 SaveDM User Guide

Send Instagram posts to SaveDM; it organizes them and finds them when you ask

1. Saving

  1. Under a reel or post tap ✈️ Send → choose savedm.app → send
  2. If the caption has ingredients, an address or steps, you get a data card automatically (recipes → 🧂 Ingredients / 👩‍🍳 Steps)
  3. If the recipe is only in the video or the comments, send a screenshot right after — it merges into that item
  4. Add a short note with the share to find it more easily later (e.g. “Poko ramen, with the kids”)

2. Finding

Just ask naturally: “that ramen place?”, “ingredients for the soup”, “the campsite from last week”. Results come as cards — tap Open for the original post.

Write in English and it answers in English; write in Korean and it answers in Korean.

4. Web vault

Send vault by DM to get your account's permanent link. Items are grouped by category; the search box looks inside ingredients and addresses too. Login lasts 30 days — add it to your home screen.

5. Questions & suggestions

DM feedback followed by your message, e.g. “feedback search isn't finding my ramen post”. The maker reads every note and replies by DM when needed.

6. The AI part can pause

SaveDM is free and its maker pays the AI usage personally. If that credit runs out, categorizing, cards and natural-language search can pause for a while. Saving, keyword search and your vault keep working, and the bot tells you it's paused. Once the credit is topped up, the backlog is organized automatically.

7. Privacy

Only the links, notes and captions you send are stored. Only you can see them, and ‘delete all’ erases everything. Privacy policy
